Welcome students and families! Welcome to Kindergarten! I am excited to be your teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. This is my fifteenth year teaching at O'Farrell. I graduated from UC San Diego with a B.A. in both political science and history. I currently hold my Multiple Subject Teaching credential as well as my Single Subject Mathematics credential.
Here are some interesting things that you might not know about me:
- I studied abroad in Rome during my junior year of college. During this time, I witnessed the transition between two popes. One of my art history classes required the students to take a quiz in the Sistine Chapel but it had to be postponed because the cardinals were locked in the room until they could vote for a new pope.
- I interned for a year for U.S. Senator Dianne Feinstein.
- I was a contestant on the game show "Who Wants to be a Millionaire."
- My family and I enjoy traveling. I have a National Parks Passport book that I make sure I get stamped each time.
- I have a son in ninth grade, a daughter in seventh, and another daughter in fifth.
