Welcome to Kindergarten!

Hello, and welcome to Kindergarten!

 

I am Mrs. Shannon Dailey. 

 

This year I will start my 23rd year as an elementary school teacher and am LOVING it as much as I did my 1st:)

This is my 12th year at the fabulous O’Farrell Charter School.

I started my career teaching first grade in the Compton/Los Angeles area. I then moved to the east coast to be closer to my family where I taught for 6 years in Northern Virginia, just outside of Washington D.C. I am happy to be back in beautiful  San Diego.

 

I graduated from San Diego State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies and received my CLAD teaching credential from California State University Fullerton.

 

In my spare time I like to travel east to visit family, read, take small weekend trips and spend time with my wonderful friends, my husband Brent and my beloved dog Corazon, "Cora" who you may see around the school from time to time!

Each school year I  look forward to a great year with the students, filled with exploring, learning, and growing.
