Mrs. Isabel Meadows

Hello! My name is Isabel Meadows, I am a TK teacher at the OCS Elementary and I am passionate about nurturing young minds and fostering a love for learning.

 

My journey in education began at San Diego State University, where I pursued a degree in Elementary Education with a focus on mathematics. Eager to deepen my expertise, I continued my education with a Master's degree in K-6 Math Education.

 

For the past four years, I've had the privilege of being part of the community at O'Farrell Charter School and have worked in a few different roles. Starting as an RTI (Response to Intervention) teacher I worked closely with students to provide targeted support in their learning journey. Transitioning to a 5th-grade classroom, I embraced the opportunity to inspire young learners and empower them to excel in mathematics and beyond. Currently, I find myself happily teaching as a Transitional Kindergarten teacher, where I have the joy of introducing our youngest students to the wonders of education.

 

Outside of the classroom I enjoy spending time in nature, taking my pup to the dog park, playing tennis, watching movies, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. 

 

I am thrilled to be part of the O'Farrell Charter School family and look forward to making a positive impact on the lives of my students for years to come!
