Hello students and families,
My name is Erin Tessier (Tess - E - A) and I'm a 3rd grade teacher here at O'Farrell Charter School. I've been teaching 3rd grade here for over 2 years and love it. I am passionate about supporting the whole child from their emotional wellbeing, social endeavors, as well as facilitating academic growth for every child regardless of where they are starting from.
A little more about me...I am married to my awesome husband of 10 years, and we have 2 lovely young boys together. We also have 2 dogs. We love hiking, gardening, and going to our boys' sporting events. My background is actually in science and I have my masters in Conservation Biology. I have a passion for sharing the natural world with students.
I believe in nurturing children's natural curiosity and interests, and facilitating inquiry within our classroom community. I look forward to getting to know you and your students and providing a safe and supportive place of learning along with the other amazing educators here at O'Farrell.
