Mrs. Ekdahl
Welcome to TK!
This is my 8th year teaching at O'Farrell Elementary School, and I have always taught in kindergarten or TK. I went to Point Loma Nazarene University for my BA, teaching credential, and MA program. I love the magic that happens in early education and consider it an honor to be a part of a child's earliest introduction to the learning environment. In TK we focus on learning through PLAY and building positive relationships in the classroom environment. We are kind, respectful, and hard workers!
When I am not teaching, I love to be outside in the sun either at the beach, hiking a mountain, or traveling somewhere new! I get the travel bug often and always have my next trip planned on the calendar. My husband, Wyatt, and I spent our honeymoon traveling Spain and Portugal, and cannot wait to go to back!
